Hey friends,
Hope you had a good weekend.
Here’s this week’s 1 Doodle · 1 Do · 1 Direction.
1 Doodle
At the beginning of 2026, we started a 90-day resolution instead of a full-year resolution.
A full year feels far enough that it gives us more time not to start. But 90 days feels like a sweet spot. It is not so tight that it stresses us out, and it is not so far away that we forget to begin.
At the beginning of each month, I send this doodle as a small reminder. It helps us feel the passing of the year and hopefully brings more of us on board to start our own 90-day goal.
1 Do
Set one specific goal in your personal life that you can achieve in 90 days.
Then break it down into actionable tasks and spread the main work over two months.
Why not three?
Because you should always leave some buffer time.
1 Direction
There is always a chance we may not achieve our 90-day goal, and that’s okay.
What I have learned is that failing faster gives me a quicker feedback loop, so I can adjust sooner.
If I wait one full year to reflect on a goal, first, I procrastinate more because the deadline feels far away. Second, I only get one big reflection at the end of the year.
But with 90-day goals, I get four chances a year to pause, learn, correct, and start again.
Btw, I created an avatar that you’ll soon see in my doodles. I needed a character to represent AI. I tried to show the “AI” through the antenna on its head, and the head and body are like two silicon dies connected together. Let me know if you have any suggestions to make it better.
That’s all for this week.
Warmly,
- Ehsan /a-🌞/
