Hey friends,
Hope you had a good weekend.
Here’s this week’s 1 Doodle · 1 Do · 1 Direction.
1 Doodle
In the past few weeks, I haven't been following my own rule of taking a proper lunch break. Instead, I've been eating at my desk while working. Even though I have this time blocked off on my calendar and had successfully stuck to it for a long time, I still managed to fall out of the routine.
This week’s doodle is a gentle reminder to myself to stop working through lunch. Doing it once in a while is fine, but letting it become a habit is a fast track to burnout.
1 Do
Block out 45 minutes to 1 hour on your calendar today and title the event:
1:1 [Your Name]:Food.
1 Direction
I’d love to discuss how even our most mature, deeply ingrained habits can suddenly slip away. Much like brushing our teeth, we expect these routines to run entirely on autopilot. Yet, despite that level of autonomy, we can still easily drift away from them.
- How do you keep your healthy habits from slipping when life gets busy?
- Once a good routine starts to slide, what is your go-to strategy to pull yourself back on track?
That’s all for this week.
Warmly,
- Ehsan /a-🌞/
