Here’s this week’s 1 Doodle · 1 Do · 1 Direction.
1 Doodle
Believe it or not, we are already in June.
By the end of this month, we will be right in the middle of the year.
Like the beginning of each month, I’m sending you this doodle as a reminder to pause and check where you are in your 90-day plan.
And if you have not started yet, this month can be the month.
You can set your own 3-month plan now. Make it not too easy that you can finish it in one week, and not too big that it cannot fit into three months.
Make it challenging enough. You know yourself better than anyone else.
A stretch goal.
For example, if you want to write a book, finishing the whole book in three months may not be realistic. Writing one page is probably too easy and not really a stretch plan. But writing one full chapter, especially if you are a first-time author, feels like a good 90-day stretch goal.
1 Do
Write down one stretch plan you can complete in three months.
Then think in weeks. What would be the measurable outcome for each week?
After that, break each week into daily actions.
1 Direction
When you “Plan,” don’t assume the plan will translate perfectly into “Do.”
It is like time blocking. Just because you block 8:00 to 9:00 for something does not mean you will always start exactly at 8:00 and finish exactly at 9:00.
Life goes sideways.
So when you break your 3-month plan into daily actions, always leave some buffer days.
