Here’s this week’s 1-1-1.

1 Doodle

We are a few days away from August, which means we have five months left in 2026. I know time goes fast, but what I have learned from this monthly reminder is that it slightly slows things down for me, not that much, but enough that I feel the year.

In the past, it was just January to December, but now, since I'm counting the months with these monthly reminders, I feel more conscious about my time. I'm not sure if you feel the same, let me know if you do. (I read all the emails, even though I may not be able to reply to all of them!)

Anyway, this week's doodle is a reminder to set your 90-day goal, and August can be the starting point. We've learned together that you don't need to wait for January to start your annual goals. You can start at any time and make them 90-day goals.

When you set your goal for 90 days, it shouldn't be so easy that it can be done in a day, nor so difficult that it feels impossible. For example, if you decide to write a book, writing one sentence a day is too easy, and writing the whole book in 90 days is impossible (at least for me!). But writing three chapters of it is just challenging enough.
